When Survivor’s first season aired in 2000, the franchise released trading cards (starter decks and Borneo booster packs) by the manufacturer Upper Deck. For season 2, they had some of the castaways autograph 500 cards each and randomly inserted them into the Australian Outback booster packs. For season 3, they planned to do the same thing, including former contestants. The first person they hired was Richard Hatch. However, after Rich completed the signing, Survivor decided not to print trading cards for Africa. Because the project was scrapped, the Hatch autographed cards were not released to the public. This is one of them. It has been authenticated and placed in a sealed slab by Global Authentic Inc. A rare piece of the revolutionary reality TV show’s history!
